If you have a CR914 or a Soling 1 Meter, clean it up and charge your batteries for the annual "After Thanksgiving Race." Feel free to forward this email to anyone else interested in attending this event.  I apologize for any duplicate emails. If you would like to be removed from this list, please let me know and I will do my best to remove you.
Host: The race is run by Edgewater Yacht Club.
Regatta Site: The race site will be the yacht basin of Edgewater Yacht Club, 6700 Memorial Shoreway, Cleveland, OH. (Located at the west end of the basin at Edgewater Park). Enter through the gated entrance and park in the EYC south lot.
Eligibility: Open to CR914 or a Soling 1 Meter.  Each boat MUST have the class logo and sail numbers on the mainsail. Boats without proper identification will not be allowed to race.
Registration: Registration will be at the event. Everyone must sign a liability release.
Frequency Assignment: To be eligible for frequency assignment, the Entry Form MUST indicate 2.4 GHz or at least one frequency. Multiple frequencies would be appreciated. Frequencies will be assigned on a first come, first served basis.
Schedule of Events:    Skippers' Meeting: 12:50 PM.   Racing: 1:00 to 3:30 PM. The number of races will be at the discretion of the Race Director (maximum of 12). If inclement weather, the race may be cancelled and will not be rescheduled. 
Sailing Instructions: Sailing instructions and course layout will be covered at the Skippers' Meeting.
Scoring: The low point system will be used. One throw-out after six races and a second throw-out after twelve races.
Fee & Prizes: Entry fee is $10.00.  Prizes will be awarded.
Administration: Chuck Connors has agreed to be the race director and will be assisted to handle registration and frequency conflicts. 
Food and refreshments will be available at the club on a cash basis.
